Frequently Asked Questions
What happens if I miss an online training session?
Each session is recorded as it is delivered. That means you will still feel a part of your cohort even if you cannot attend the session.
What happens if I miss a mentoring session?
Mentoring is arranged at a time to suit you. We know that situations can arise that mean you may need to move your session at short notice. We are here to support you. We caveat that with saying that if a session is moved more than twice we reserve the right to cancel it.
I am not sure about doing this with a group of other providers. How will I stop other people from ‘stealing’ my ideas?
We generally find the more you are open and share, the more you get back, however, we understand that it can be difficult sharing your very best ideas with others. Everyone will be offered the opportunity to share but no one will be required to share. Therefore, it is up to you how much you share with the group.
And what about mentoring - is that confidential?
Yes. One of the core principles of mentoring is that it is a confidential relationship built on trust. Everything you tell your mentor will remain absolutely confidential unless you agree with your mentor otherwise (for example, we might ask for permission to share your experience between ourselves to find a solution for you, or we might ask you if we can share something with the group). You own that relationship and will never be put under pressure. And given the nature of our profession, we need to give a nod to safeguarding and highlight how we would be required to adhere to the law/legal requests for information.
I am interested, but the dates don’t work for me. Are there other dates coming up?
Yes. Please contact us and let us know your preferred time/dates and we will try and create a cohort to fit.
Can I apply for funding to attend this programme?
Your Local Authority might be able to help you fully or partially fund this course through their National Wraparound Childcare Programme activity funding.
I’m not keen on online sessions, can we do it face-to-face?
Firstly, let’s start by saying that our online sessions will be engaging, interactive and fun. They will be (nearly) as good as being there in person. This is not a camera off, get on with something else experience. You will be fully engaged during the session.
And, we do offer an in-person service - this is typically purchased by Local Authorities for a group of providers.
I think this is a great idea, but it is way to expensive for me. Couldn’t you offer it more cheaply?
This is a business growth programme. It is for organisations who are ambitious and looking to grow. That growth requires investment in yourself and your business. We recognise that you can find free training online. That is not what this programme is all about. We are providing tailored sessions, we are helping you apply that knowledge very specifically to your business, and then creating the right environment for you to plan. And, on top of all of that we are offering you expert mentoring on a one-to-one basis. We are so certain that we can make a positive impact on your business that we offer a money-back guarantee.
How does the money back guarantee work?
It’s simple. It is no quibble. If you follow the programme (for example, attend all the training sessions, engage with peer support and use your expert mentors) we guarantee that you will either have earned or saved £2,500. If you don’t think you have, you tell us why and we will refund your money. It really is that simple.
The money back guarantee sounds very generous, why?
We have absolute belief in our ability to make a difference to your business. We have done it before. We will do it again.
