About Us
Between us we have started and grown multiple businesses. As sisters, we have found we have naturally different skill sets. And whilst there is a good deal of cross over, Sam is the person to come to when you are feeling a bit short of inspiration, when you want the ideas to flow, when you need to feel that someone is on your side. She is pragmatic and supportive. Tanya will give you an emotional boost. She is calm and positive. She loves the application of an academic model. Sam has decades of experience of managing a large team. Tanya is all about what happens in the background, marketing, customer support and HR.
Whatever your challenge, problem or area of interest - at least one of us will be an expert!
Hello. I’m Sam.
I am a former primary school teacher. I opened my first holiday club because I saw an article in the press saying children were falling behind academically during the summer holidays and I thought I had the skills to change that.
It was not easy starting the business. Recruitment, marketing, finances, in fact everything, was all new to me.
Tanya joined me after a few years and we had a shared vision of growing the business and maintaining the values and ethos of the first club.
I love connecting with people and now support other small businesses, helping people reach their own and their companies full potential through mentoring, training and consultancy.
I’m a qualified adult trainer and love to deliver training in a fun and engaging way so that the content is relevant and is absorbed and implementable. I have nearly completed my Level 7 Mentoring and Coaching qualification.
The challenges I love: Helping people to solve their problems and finding solutions together that may be simple but are impactful. I am an ideas person and love joining the dots.
Hello. I’m Tanya.
My background is software marketing. I would never have foreseen a career in the childcare sector. Sam needed a bit of support with the non-club related aspects of running her business and I have not ever really left the sector since. I am included as a 2024 f:entreprenuer inspiring female.
Since we sold our business I have completed an MBA and also achieved a Level 7 in Coaching and Mentoring. It is fair to say that I love business, strategy and problem solving. I am also an expert adviser to the National Wraparound Childcare Programme.
The challenges I love: Anything a bit complicated that requires looking at it from several angles and where you might need a bit of support in not only finding the right solution but implementing it too.
